Sure does.

It really will never go away, likely only get worse.

I like to price match Amazon to Best Buy in store to get around counterfeiting.

Teamgroup 512gb for $28 right now.

I always use SanDisk, Samsung, or teamgroup. Ive had issues with them all but less issues from teamgroup. I own around 50 micro SD cards. I've only had a few of them fail and they were usually the smaller size ones that tend to get corrupt and stop working. The warranty isn't great on any of them but they usually mess up in the first month of using them or many years later. I wouldn't worry to much about it, and always make a backup if it's important.

Which is better, SanDisk High Endurance or Extreme?

Does anyone ever have issues with SanDisk SD cards? I've had a few various models and there was like a 1 in 10 chance they would just stop appearing on devices for good one day and i'd lose all the data on the card permanently, whereas I've never had that issue with Samsung

Those are the only two brands I've ever used though so idk if thats normal or not
I've never had issues with genuine memory cards, but you really have to watch who the seller is on Amazon, tons of fakes floating around.

Would this do OK in a security camera OR should I spend a little more money to get a High Endurance card?
High endurance cards have a 2 year warranty whereas this one has lifetime. Always treat sd cards as ephemeral storage and transfer data off of them regularly because they can and will fail given an arbitrary amount of time due to things like heat or write volume.

What is the difference between the Pro and Smart Teamsgrp cards since they both are 512 and the same read rate?
I have purchased SSDs from them before so Im fine with them

I was talking about this 2 nights ago with a buddy. I had a bunch of 32gb SanDisk extreme and the colors and print are different on almost every one of them. Either they are making these in a lot of different factories or their is a lot of counterfeit out there. These were at least 5-7 years old cards too cuz they were from when I was flying drones and haven't in a bit. Best Buy or Microcenter for me on SD cards

I did the same thing with my last card, an Extreme Pro. You can price match in chat and they email you a link to complete the purchase, you don't even have to go to the store.

I had two cards from Amazon fail within 24 hours. Maybe bad luck but I think they were fake. They were stupidly slow too while they were working.

Yes they are absolute trash
Every single SanDisk card I have that is 256 or over SUCKS.
They refuse to be written to at all
They will eventually work but only after about 7 hours or trying and pulling my hair out and trying 5 different readers and 20 different adapters 50 times each.
They constantly say write protection is enabled when it's not it they just won't show up.
I have 256, 400 and 512 and every single one of them has been nothing but problems.
I have Samsung EVO cards of the same. Exact capacities and use the same equipment without any issues.
And I hardly write to these cards but whenever do try to it becomes a multi day ordeal and just when I am about to file a ticket for RMA they finally start working.
This happens every time I want to put a new game on my switch (yes I know there are shops but I don't use those, I do use USB installs now but usually I just like to use my PC and write the nsp to the card directly because I m old school)
I don't even play that much and I mostly only play the big first party titles so it's very infrequently that I tried to write to these cards but every single time it is a huge headache.
They are legit cards , I only buy from reputable sources and I always to a full h2tstw on all my cards to be sure.
IDK WT F they are doing over there for their cards to be so 💩tty but I would never buy another one
I formatt them the same as the Samsung and microcenter cards I have but only the SanDisk card are a total nightmare to deal with ,they are hot garbage 🔥 🗑️
