Sure does.

It really will never go away, likely only get worse.

I like to price match Amazon to Best Buy in store to get around counterfeiting.

Teamgroup 512gb for $28 right now.

I always use SanDisk, Samsung, or teamgroup. Ive had issues with them all but less issues from teamgroup. I own around 50 micro SD cards. I've only had a few of them fail and they were usually the smaller size ones that tend to get corrupt and stop working. The warranty isn't great on any of them but they usually mess up in the first month of using them or many years later. I wouldn't worry to much about it, and always make a backup if it's important.

Does anyone ever have issues with SanDisk SD cards? I've had a few various models and there was like a 1 in 10 chance they would just stop appearing on devices for good one day and i'd lose all the data on the card permanently, whereas I've never had that issue with Samsung

Those are the only two brands I've ever used though so idk if thats normal or not
SanDisk and Western Digital are the only brands that have failed me.

Between my wife and I we have majority due to us being tech nerds. Quite a few drones, a few Switches for the kids, Steam decks, older phones, laptops, cameras. There are some im forgetting. It's easy to accidentally collect them over the years.

If you want a higher capacity, note the 512GB version has a pretty similar price per GB at $37.99.

The 512GB I believe nets you 460-480GB so be aware of the marketing capacity

Thanks. I bought 512 for my Hero 13 and Osmo Pocket 3, hopefully I won't run out of space again 🙂

Just pay attention to who the seller is. Make sure it is "sold by Amazon" or the Manufacturer and you're usually safe.

I just received my Teamgroup 512GB micro SD from your recommendation. I popped it in my Switch so I shouldn't have to worry about running out of space anytime soon!

That's not true at all. Nobody is "safe" from counterfeit microSD cards. It's less risky these days but no one is so safe that they can forgo checking their card upon arrival; it's a must.

I never said don't check them upon receipt. Trust but verify.
