just be aware that the low price point means low nits in that screen & it'll probably have screen lag

Good call, couldn't find how long the cable is. After poking around a few minutes looks like these systems are a dime a dozen.
As an example [amazon.com] and it's only $60 with a back up cable extension.

I bought a similar one 3 4 months ago and been using it with android auto. Still stuck with an old car 🚗 with no screens, this one really elevates the experience by having a large map and using Spotify and YT music. Bonus is the front end camera that records. I haven't used the backup camera yet but for $60 it's worth it. Only issue i face is that of switching between car's Bluetooth while attending calls to this one.
Anyone have experience switching Bluetooth for calls and this one?

If it's regular call 📞 I can change the Bluetooth source on the phone as the call comes in. However, with whatsapp calls I am unable to switch the Bluetooth source. I van hear the caller but they can't hear me.

He must mean that since this unit connects via Bluetooth to your phone then that means when you get a call you will have to switch to your cars Bluetooth to talk on your phone.

i've had similiar units and like them. didn't have a problem with brightness.

I recommend using a second cell phone for these.. you can use instabridge with Waze/Google maps. and the data works..

or you can get a $5 Textnow sim and use it with Google maps.

Then keep your main phone tethered to the cars Bluetooth... so your calls won't get routed to the crappy speakers on these devices.

You wire the camera power from your reverse lights. When the camera gets power the unit will automatically switch to camera display.

I actually own 4 similar ones for my vehicles. Some I run as Android Auto, the wireless can sometimes be difficult randomly dropping connection.

Some units act more like Android phones will full app store, on those I usually just connect them to my hotspot amaps/fm to pipe audio to car
