bought a similar one months ago and the screen is dimmer than a kindle

just be aware that the low price point means low nits in that screen & it'll probably have screen lag

Good price to try but this would be a pain to put up and take down. Leaving this on the dash would attract unsavory people.

Actually got mine a couple of days ago and love it. I don't use the back up camera since my car has one already but the screen is very nice, touch screen is responsive, it connects perfectly to my iPhone wirelessly, the dashcam starts automatically and there is no setup needed (no need to add an sd card either). On my car, I had to press hard for a few seconds and not touch it until the next day ( per the instructions) and the adhesive holds quite well. I don't know long term but I'll glue it because I have nothing to loose Wink. The two things I am not a fan is first the restricted camera position: because the camera is built in at the back of the display, if the height is a little low on my Nissan leaf dash and the videos of the dashcam has almost 25 percent of it being my dash board. The other thing is that as far as I can tell the brightness isn't automatically adjusted. It is bright actually so no problem during the day but early morning that thing is too bright for me. Then there is the cable for the power but all dash will have that issue. It did come with basic tools to lift panels and tuck the wire if possible. I personally am very happy with it for the price.

The rear cam seems to be backup camera used only when reversing.

edit: maybe I am wrong. I see another image with split screen.

I spent a lot of time and some money to figure out best option was buy 2 suction cup mounts with magnetic mounts that I superguled to the back of the unit. And then mount it high enough up that those mounts didn't get in the way of the dash cam. Any tapes or anything else with the mount it came with would fall off or was worry would damage the dash. Looks junky though but saved me from spending a lot of unit from buying units for different vechiles.
