I'm about half way through it on Series X. I played the original when it came out in 1993. Great graphics with a lot of atmosphere, pretty linear, puzzles not too hard. I'm enjoying it. I got it for $24.99 from Slickdeals. Definitely worth it at that price. You can pay through it twice, once as Edward the next as Emily and there's some differences.

The game sold poorly and unfortunately the studio that developed it recently shut down.

I don't recommend it. I bought roughly at this price shortly after it's launch and it feels like a half finished game. The further you go in the game the worse the issues get. It was the most mid game I played last year.

If you want a really good horror game, get Alan Wake 2 Deluxe instead!

This was exactly my take. I bought it for about $15 a few months after launch and even though it started okay it really got worse as the game went on. I also hated that they paid to mocap two actors but the actors rarely say anything about the world around them and the stuff that is happening.

Highly recommend Alan Wake 2 at ANY price point. That was my game of the year, even against Baldur's Gate 3, when it came out.
