I bought because I thought the tariffs were going to go into effect and increase the price and this was the best deal for me.
I don't use very many talk minutes per year. After stacking the two deals, I will have 2 years of service for about $40 per year.
Hard to beat that.
Personally I activate each phone on a separate account/line to double up on rewards points. you lose 2 out of your initial 24 months to gain 6000 additional reward points, that can be redeemed for four 500talk/500text/500mb/30day balance boost (1500 points each). so it ends up a net gain of 2000 minutes, 2000 text, and 2GB of data. Then with the help of support combine the boosted balances into one.
Would not advise making any changes until after 60 days if you want rewards or phone to unlock.
