if you already have a heatsink on the ssd, you dont need this. I've been using the og one since 2020 and had no issues

I've had an m2 in the PS5 since shortly after launch with no heat sink, and it's still alive and kicking.

Not to say heat sinks aren't important, but I feel like the PS5 has so much room to work with, they don't do a ton.
