BOGO or noGo for me lol
I think they overdid that $5 footlong jingle.
I still think of it seeing their name.
Who wrote that anyway…?
Not quite regular prices = BOGO. Some footlongs are as low as $9 (varies by area), so, in that case, the 2nd sandwich (if it's the same, hypothetically) is costing you an additional $4. Not bad, but not BOGO.

The problem with inconsistencies is related to the fact that they're all franchises. That can be problematic with the ones who don't give a crap about their customers. It's also related to how many Subways exist in your particular area. If there are very few, that can spell trouble. If you're in an area (such as mine) with many locations, they try a lot harder to keep their customers satisfied.

Another thing, if you want your sandwich made right (or are assertive enough to ask for larger quantities of the toppings), place your order at the restaurant and follow up with it. Placing the order in advance frequently results in disappointment, as they take advantage and slack off. They can't play games if your standing there in front of them. This has been my (consistent) experience.

Actually, the 1st $5 jingle was written by a guy named David Muhlenfeld. The revival jingle was written by Charlie Puth (oddly enough). Yeah, I don't care either, but I just wanted to convey this.

I'm curious? Where are you located? It's not national. I've confirmed this. It's regional.
It is national. I visit some of my relatives on the West Coast and I see this mailer. I visit some of my relatives on the East Coast and I see this mailer. I am located in the southeast and what do you know? I see this mailer yesterday.

OP: Please clarify....do the paper coupons expire on 4/5? That may not apply to the codes (why used online). There have been times when the codes could be used beyond the dates specified on the coupons. It seems that those dates apply only to the paper coupons. Also....are there additional coupon codes that you didn't include? I'm asking this, since you specified "example coupons". If there are others, please include them. Thanks for posting this!
There are usually coupons on the back as well.

To clarify....They're not distributed nationally at the same time. Therefore, at any given time, it's regional. This was told to me by their corporate office. I called to complain that I didn't receive them for a long period of time. They told me that they're distributed in cycles. They don't flood the entire country at the same time. Seeing them wherever wasn't my point. It was that different regions receive them at different times. I should've been more specific about that.

Thanks!....but I addressed that post to the OP, since they stated "example coupons" (why not list all of them)?....but since you have them, perhaps you could create your own post with the info. from the remaining coupons. I'm in the NY area, and I didn't receive them....and there are 3 Subway franchises all within a 2-3 mile radius.

There's been too many posts about subways taking the online order and customers coming in to see that the staff refused to honor the coupon. Whether it's the franchisee owner/employees making these decisions it's spurned me away from wanting to try Subway coupons/offers. I just don't want to waste my time traveling there to be burned. Used to love Subways but haven't been in years.

There may be a disconnect here. This is promo codes and paper coupons 101.... If you place an online order using a promo code and it isn't rejected (it indicates that the discount was applied), then they can't possibly refuse to honor it at the location. Paper coupons can't be used online. Only in the restaurants. If you successfully place the order online and the discount code is accepted, you don't need to use the coupon. The coupons are reserved for customers who would prefer to order and pay at the restaurant. You can't place the order online (at the regular price) and then expect them to discount it with the paper coupon. It never works that way. They're unable to modify the order at the locations. Once the order is placed successfully online (using the promo code), the staff has no further control over the transaction. It's a done deal. The real problem is that many locations don't accept promo codes or paper coupons. You'll know that when you place the order online. If the code doesn't work at a particular location, neither will the paper coupons. It's a PITA, since you have to keep changing locations until you find one that accepts them. If you're in an area with few Subway locations, you can be screwed! I have one that's walking distance, but I have to travel to one that accepts the promo codes/paper coupons! This is why franchises suck!

I would threaten them that I am complaining to corporate because of it goes through online or the app, they are at fault. You can even come on here and write to everyone the location. File class action for misleading.

I've seen reports of online orders using promo codes and then when people go to pick up their orders it's just not made bc they refused to make the order because of the coupon. I haven't tried it myself since I just chalk up the extra cash for local sandwich shops and Jersey Mike's bc they treat customers with respect at the very least.

The real issue with these coupons is that then you would have to go to Subway to use them.

It is mind blowing that Subway has more US locations than any other fast food chain. I assume that has to do with setting up shop in a ton of Walmarts and other grocery stories but it seems locally those have all been pulled.

I seriously doubt it. I suspect that these "reports" are from people who are placing orders online at the regular price and then attempting to use the coupon when they pick up the order. There is no option for them to modify orders once they're placed online. These coupons have only one purpose....and that's at the restaurant (no online order whatsoever). The only problem is that you would need to call first to establish whether or not they even accept the paper coupons. That's the real problem. Not people making up their own rules and then bitching about the staff!
