You can get the WX242 on Ali, it's usually $5-10 more and not sold in the US for some reason. It's one step up from this one, has an adjustable clutch, better LED, and locking bit holder. Well worth the few extra bucks IMO.
lol … at first read it sounded like your case was missing your daughter inside … had to re-read it
Decent set, got this from Home Depot last Christmas for about the same price.
My only complaint is that the bits aren't magnetic.

I bought this. I farking love it. I've had a million electric screwdrivers but this is the first "real" one imo. It's fantastic. Light could be brighter it whatever.

While this does look nice it looks like a much heavier substantial tool. I'm needing something smaller and more agile but still some power.
Not sure what your use case is. To me, these are the use cases: 1) lightweight: electronics, computers, phones, toys, cameras. None of these mentioned in this thread are useful here. 2) medium weight work: assembling furniture, hanging curtains, putting screws in walls, door locks, etc... 3) heavy duty: driving lag bolts into studs,

For medium and heavy duty, the metabo works great. you can straighten it or make it into a pistol grip. The worx 242 is only good for medium weight work whereas the metabo does great at both medium and heavy duty. Its worth looking into.

I have a smaller precision electric screwdriver perfect for all of the smaller things in your first list, the things in your second list can easily be handled by the WX242, and have about $1k in Dewalt tools including my screw and impact guns for any lag bolts or heavy duty stuff. The Metabo is in a weird uneeded middle ground for me. I need the lightweight tool belt small portability of the WX242. I also don't want another charging station w/barrel plug and proprietary removable batteries. Being able to charge this on the fly with the usb option is a plus here.

These are just two different wavelengths I'm afraid - but I can see where that would be a great option for some and covers a lot of needs.

Would recommend at least looking at the results from this vid https://youtu.be/PMfEs6PAS7I?si=aBxbLM8YctKGg6er

Purchased the winning screwdriver from this video, and I could not be happier. The thing is an absolute beast.

Which one is the winner

The winner is the one that best suits your needs. The videos show the strength and weakness of each model so you can decide which is best for you. There is no single best model for everyone.

Makes sense. For those who dont have an extensive set of powered tools already like you, the metabo is a consideration. I also have drills and find that I would rather bring one tool that has the tool belt portability, its the metabo. Its great there are varieties of tools for everyone!

I have the Milwaukee brushed 12v cordless screwdriver which has an extremely gentle and precise clutch and variable speed trigger. If you don't need something pocket portable

Might have to rebuy it. I opened my case and it's missing my daughter probably hid it somewhere in the house
My daughter was in the case when I opened it so you should probably ask for an RMA

Same price at walmarthttps://www.walmart.com/ip/Worx-4...om=/search
Thx. I grabbed it via walmart, just to stay in that ecosystem for any returns, etc.... Seems like a great day, and I've got some home improvements around the house that make my impact drill a little to OP for jobs lol. I can use something a little quieter with my boy asleep.

Looking at several of these models and checking out several YouTube comparison videos of some of the top tool comparison channels I think I'm going to get the newer Worx WX242, as I think without an adjustable torque setting these types of drivers are somewhat useless for tasks requiring more control. I was looking on Ali and it's about $38. I may just spring for $11-12 on Amazon in case the battery fails in the first month of use I won't have to hassle with the return process to China. These things tend to be hit or miss based on the cells they put in them!

Also look at the Fanttik pro. Costco usually has them for about $50. I didn't think I would use mine as much as I do, but USB-C and integrated magnetic bits means I've not lost any of it and it stores away nicely. It has three torque settings also. My only gripe is the power button should really have something tactile, as its forward and reverse and can be annoying to find. I may put a small blob of glue or something on it to find it more easily.
