Seems like a great deal with the lens alone retailing for $800. I rent this camera when I need an upgrade to my trusty GH5's and it's performed great. Uncropped 4K 60p and 120p are fantastic.
12-60mm's review not as good as the first version of f3.5-5.6.
I've had both. The 12-60 f/2.8-4.0 is one of the best Panasonic Lenses ever created. It has a close mfd and is sharp. The 12-60 f/3.5-5.6 is also a good lens, but it's softer, has some lens flaring... i.e. not in the same league.
This deal is tempting. The only thing about Micro 4/3rds is the poor low light performance. I've had G9 and GH6, Panasonic has unbelievable build quality and the Leica kit lens is solid. I'd say for $1500 this a phenomenal deal.
I'm only questioning going FF again as I loved my A7iii pictures/videos and think going S5IIX is next on my list.

This is an incredible deal for the one of the best crop sensor cameras on the market. Even amongst APS-C competition this is comparable. Video features are out of this world. If you're already in the Panasonic world, it's great that they made the basically identical to their Full-Frame S-Line of cameras, so you can use the same batteries and accessories, software is the same. The benefit of generally smaller and sharp lenses can't be disregarded. I shot MFT for a long time, for weddings and events I'll have you, and it's still relevant.
I figure Amazon and Best Buy are trying to dump stock since, I'm assuming that most MFT users at this tier of camera are probably enthusiasts or professionals, and are purchasing from dedicated camera retailers. It presents a great opportunity to grab a super camera!

You can still order but M43 is not temping on 2025.
Depends on what you are doing.
In many situations I'd agree with you (portraits, low light situations, etc).
But this camera has no draw back spec wise (besides no fan found on GH7). These are still great cameras for outdoor enthusiasts wanting to capture nature or sports. You'd be able to get your money back for this quite easy. Sold my GH6 with Leica for $1200 a couple weeks ago.
I got this thing, cause it locks on faces & animals like nobody's biznass. Plus they finally figured out image stabilizaton with mark 2!! Get this if you want ez pic taking. I got this body only for $600 in the B&H trade in deal last year.

Edit: I guess this is a clearance item, looking at BB's site.
