This is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. It did take me about 4 hours to get into, though. I thought it was super weird (it is) and I really couldn't get into it at first. I came back to it months later, just to really force myself to give it a better shot. After that 4th hour, I was pretty hooked. By the time it was over, I was wishing it would never end. It's certainly not for the majority of people. However, for those who are able to develop an appreciation for it (like I eventually did), there's a good chance it will end up being one of your favorite games.

How is this on console vs. PC? Is it better with keyboard + mouse since it's a CRPG?

Played it last year and enjoyed it. It's an interesting hybrid of exploring the world and a text-based story and actions like DnD or something like that. I didn't think I'd like it at first but I slowly warmed up to it.

PS4/5 version would be great. Do NOT buy the Switch version as it crashes constantly.

Yeah. I went in blind and wish I didn't. It's a point and click adventure essentially with rpg traits. It also has a ton of dialogue. It's not for everyone

This. It's good but I think very overrated. I never understood a lot of the mechanics with the voices and whatnot

Honestly wish I was raving… but somehow this thing lost my interest right as I was about to beat the game…. Amazing voice acting though. Couldn't say I recommend.

With voice it's better maybe ppl didnt play with voice mode. But very questioning and deep game. However, i was disappointed by the end game...

It's great on console. You just flick the right stick around to select the thing you want to examine or person you want to talk to.

I played through it on Steam Deck. Even with the voices, since they spoke so slowly, I usually just read ahead and skipped. It was an interesting, engaging game, graphic novel really, with a choose your own adventure type feel. Not sure I could bring myself to consistently sit at a console to play, I think it's more suited for handheld/mobile.

Agreed. I went into it having watched reviews. I know there's a lot of depth to the story and mechanics. I really wanted to get drawn into the world but the game was just slow, not that interesting. Maybe I'll give it another try at some point…
