That must be dependant on your setup, I've never had input lag except for when I was trying to feed a laptop straight into a tv feeding into a soundbar.

On my PC with speakers/headphones there's no latency.

I found a used RS tone cable on ebay for about 10 bucks. The game is okay, if you already play guitar, its weird looking at the fretboard on the screen. It's the opposite way I would prefer. Hard to get use to.
