Funny, I'm currently sitting in my truck swearing at this exact camera as it won't shut up..."Parking recording started" "Recording Started" every five minutes. Also, I have sensitivity set to the lowest setting, but every bump I hit, it's talking to me about emergency recording or something like that. Annoying as hell.

I have a fleet equipped with cams from several brands. Viofos are by far the most UNRELIABLE ones

I've had an A119 for about 3 years without a hiccup. I pull the SD card every ~6 months just to double-check it's recording properly. Never a problem.

I found this to be the SDcard in mine, I think it was going bad. Switching it fixed this problem

You can definitely turn off voice notifications in Settings. Parking mode can only be properly enabled with one of the hardwire kits (not plugging into USB). If your setup is hardwired and constantly switching between parking/normal recording modes, then there is probably an issue with where you have the ACC wire hooked up.

My car's fuse system is weird, and when I originally tried setting up the ACC fuse tap (at night), the headlights were the only fuses I found that worked as expected when I turned the ignition power on and off. However, I didn't realize that because I was installing this at night, my car's light sensor was activating the headlight fuse. When I went driving in the daytime, the dashcam started toggling between parking/recording mode everytime my lights went on/off in a tunnel or covered area, lol. I ended up having to dig behind the fuse box and find a "remote signal" wire to tap the ACC wire into for proper on/off with the ignition switch. Hope this helps someone.

Same happened to my 119 mini 2 but every 5 seconds. Then it died. In the beginning it seemed more responsive to voice and later remote, but towards the end not so responsive. Had to get a replacement. Real test will be in July. First cam never saw summer heat.

How many units in your fleet? Are they hardwired? Then what is the most reliable brand in your fleet just curious?

Started with 8, then 5 bricked themselves. I'm left with the 3 that work intermittently. CS is a joke. All my vehicles are hardwired.

Vantrue, Yi, the cheaper Roavs, Garmin are all good. My favorites are the Yi 2.7 1080p. they're workhorses. If in doubt: the cheaper and less frills the more reliable

note: I'm guessing the thumbs down are from Viofo employees?

Oddly enough, the cheap ones have been the best. Vantrues have been ok, but the workhorses are the discontinued YIs. I'm not sure how 8-year-old $40 dash cams are still outpacing the modern ones in image quality AND reliability, but here we are. It's a shame they're not available anymore
