You can save a screenshot of both gift cards to your phone. Just show them to the cashier at checkout. Doesn't matter which one you use first.
The discount is good. But I am kind of hate the small amount Chipotle GC since the app does not allow me to save more than ONE gift card!!! Seriously inconvenient
It's $8.99 for a chicken bowl and the portions are plenty big... I'm 6,4 and 250. I don't know if people are trying to make three square meals out of the bowls but I have no issues with the amount of food you get for under $10.

You're living in fantasyland. While every other fast food establishment has raised their prices 2x, Chipotle prices are almost exactly the same as pre-pandemic. You're getting better ingredients and food for the dollar by far here. Most of the calories coming from other fast food is in their fries and sugar from soda.

Weird take. I never once mentioned fast food. You obv don't live in the New York market. Anyone I've been to upstate or downstate is absolute trash so I stopped going. 15 bucks for a bowl, small portions, miserable workers, food everywhere and dirty af. The moes here are ran right tho.

Who actually goes to a *cashier* in 2025?

You order in advance via an app for almost all fast serve restaurants and don't wait.

Some of us like interacting and engaging w pple instead of being detached. We keep on w that bs and most everywhere will hardly have any of us working.

NYC is always more $$. Just like Airports.

Most of the country pays around $9-$11 for a burrito bowl from Chipotle.

Not just downstate. Same here upstate too. Sucks

Exactly. ❤️

it's about $10 where i live for a burrito and most of the time that won't feed a small child. they skimp on portions so much that you end up just chewing on the shell. I really just want a single meal. if i could walk away with that I'd be happy.

Exactly, but mine got down voted…apparently I hurt some feelings 🤣🤣

Right! So you're stuck with a $5 card that you can only use after the $30 is spent if you order online? Not worth it for me since I order through the app 99% of the time.

Your state doesn't give you the right to cash out gift cards less than $10?

I love going to Chipotle to beg for extra toppings on every ingredient I want because they can't fill a spoon. Then I'm supposed to be happy paying them 10-12 dollars for the food I begged for. Don't forget to tip! They worked Soo hard to keep the place extra dirty and understaffed.

"Please kind sir a decent sized burrito today?"

Why not print out the $5 card and use it in store and save $30 to your app?

Print it out? Too much work for someone who doesn't own a printer.

Worse, those assholes claim it's impossible to issue refunds to gift card balances, if there's an order screwup or anything else requiring a refund. They just kick some chips into your account for your next order. Someone needs to sue their asses for improper fair trade practices (i.e., literally failing to issue legally deserved refunds, if paid for using gift cards as legal tender).

nere,in new York city chicken bowl is around $14...

Im in Ohio. 8 locations within 8 miles of me.
The price varies per location. It almost like they based on either home values of the area or rent of the location. Cannot figure it out.

The locations where the Median houses are like 600k it is 9.99. The area where median houses are like 300k prices are 8.99

Where do you live? All chipotles raising their prices by 100% since pandemic.
I guess this happens when your city makes top 5 cheapest living in 2019 then within 5 years we are off the list.

Wages are also higher in nyc. I live in Ohio min wage is 10.70, chipotle is 9 or 10 bucks. NYC min wage is 16.50, chipotle is $14. Not saying you make min wage but it's all relative.
