With a 2 year warranty, it's a great deal. Picked up two of them. Used to have one that broke, paid around $85 with battery. Very powerful, but the plastic tends to break where it inserts into the filter chamber. For this price, I don't care if it breaks after a year.

In for one. Been using a Ryobi vac with Makita battery adapter, so this is perfect.

Have two, my older one is cracking where bpig mentioned. At this price I will store it until one of the others is done. Thanks! For those just getting into this model, the cyclone attachment is worth the money.

I don't have any Makita batteries. Is there a Ryobi battery to Makita tool adapter? I see a lot of the other way ones on Amazon.

This is NOT brushless for those who care. I have that model and it's very convenient for picking up light junk.

This is an OK vacuum. It's much quieter than the DeWalt model that's heavily featured here. (Note: quieter, not quiet).

Mine also started breaking pretty quick where the wand goes into the vacuum. Needed to buy a replacement body in relatively short order. This time I attached a pair of hose clamps around the attachment point. Lasted much longer, but still eventually broke after a year. Been using the DeWalt ever since. It's much, much louder, but also sucks better. I'd only buy this if you're already in the makita battery world or you don't plan on using the wand.
