This is an amazing price. During holiday sales I stalked the 36GB version until finally buying it for $1949, rest of the specs are the same. I didn't see it lower during the holidays, think I've seen a little lower here on slickdeals since then, but not this low. I wanted the M3 pro bc the M4 pro wasn't worth the extra money for my use case since most of what it can do better relates to AI. The 36GB was the only must-have on my list since I daytrade and the RAM is very important for that speed. Also, if you're someone who keeps 50 tabs of Chrome open all the time the high ram will keep that from slowing down your computer
