Good post, I wish this game was on PC but may end up getting it for switch. I need to look and see if it runs well on switch

Just completed my first playthrough on the Switch, and as someone who also has an Xbox and PS5, I think the Switch might be the best option, especially when it comes to some bits of grinding here and there. Fantastic game--would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a deep tactics game with a decent enough fantasy story.

Original list price should be $59.99. Tried updating, but not seeing it change. Just FYI. $69.99 is the price for the Monarch Edition and is not on sale.

I have the switch version, and had no issues with it. It runs pretty well imo. Great game overall.

It runs fine I'd say. Haven't played the PlayStation port to compare but I never noticed any lag like I did with Triangle Strategy

2024 GOTY for me as well. I 100% every challenge in the game and logged about 70 hours. Performance on the Switch was acceptable and largely a non-issue. Really my only complaint is load times are a bit longer than I'd like, but I suppose I'm spoiled on the PC with PCIe 4.0 drives loading things in an instant these days. Wish there was a sequel to look forward to, but this one took a long time and a lot of TLC to create, so maybe it's best there will never be a sequel.

I really wish the story didn't suck so bad. But I'm glad the huge demo let me determine that the story sucked before buying.

I won't deny that it's generic, it basically just uses Fire Emblem's traditional story of a prince going to reclaim his homeland. There are some interesting bits like helping your neighboring allies fight against the evil bad empire. It ain't winning any awards for story, but I think it's fine enough to move the story along.

Yeah it's not very sophisticated a tale, but it's far more than sufficient and there is a built in wiki keeping track of lore and miscellaneous background details you might miss

Everything about this game was a homerun. The Switch was perfect for grinding on this, it felt like the thrill of console gaming when I was a kid. Had a friend who thought the name of the game was strange, but also ended up loving it.

One of the best games I've played for a long time. I was stunned by how well it performs on the Switch. No issues at all with no frame drops. Very fast frame rates. You will not be disappointed in playing this game.
