If you're looking for a small pack to run that chainsaw, consider the DCB240. It's 4Ah (so twice the runtime of these) and, more importantly, uses higher output cells (21700s). They're a bit bigger than this one, but not that much. You can pick up a two-pack from HD [homedepot.com], Lowes [lowes.com] or Ace [acehardware.com] for $99, or currently at $89 Amazon [amazon.com] (sold by Woot), so better price per Ah, than the current deal.
Good deal. For the small capacity haters some of us that use things like drivers like to have a smaller lighter battery sometimes

What would be the runtime for a 20V chainsaw (DCCS620B) with these 2Ah batteries?

Second the 4ah option, also you can buy (2) $50 ace giftcards right now for $40 each, so you get (2) of the new 4ah for only 20 more than this deal.

Not much. I'd use minimum 5aH battery.

If there is other stuff you are looking to buy too its worth checking out acme tools. They have these batteries for this price as well and they have a promotion for spend 199 get 25 off spend spend 300 get 50 off and spend 500 get 100 off. Specifically a dewalt sale. Not everything is eligible but a lot is and these batteries are one

$99 for 2 x 4 amps at Lowes as well. I Think that is a better deal.

day drinking on Sunday again?

I like to use the smaller batteries on smaller tools like the orbital sander and cutoff saw with 3 inch blade.

Yup! Don't need to be carrying a 6.0 ah up and down a ladder all the time.
