I almost prefer my v3 to these v4. The wider field of view on the v3 makes a difference, and the video quality is basically the same. V4 are slightly brighter at night.

It varies on the plan you get. https://www.wyze.com/products/cam-plus

But it's worth mentioning that you can use it free with a micro SD card. You just wont be able to use some of the paid features.

Wyze also runs promotions every once in awhile where it is $89 for an annual plan that allows you to have as many cameras as you want. I would recommend going that route.

That's good to know. So I can have as many indoor and outdoor cameras as I want for $89 a year. Will that come with cloud storage. I believe all those will be wired. Correct? Or can I also have wireless.

Got them on the prior deal. They're pretty good, the image quality doesn't seem as good as the Eufy solarcams but better than the wired Eufy's.

I did get their cloud plan for 2 cameras at $20/each camera/yr, so $40/yr for me.

Found these to be way better than any previous version and the 2.5K video is sharp. If folks enjoy watching my dog sleep or my cat going to the bathroom, more power to them. I send them videos to train their AI when they do go the bathroom.

I, for one, only let my country watch me. That's what being an American is all about.

This man just enjoys watching someone slap the bass live on camera every once in awhile. Thought this was America

I checked my Wyze emails for the $89/Yr. deal, and I've received them at least twice a year (around Oct./Nov.), and a few days ago also got it and renewed for another 12 months for $89. You can have up to 99 cameras (all models included). It does include cloud storage for about 14 days on this plan (more days on the Pro plan).

Anyone has experience to compare this and Eufy?
My eufy constantly disconnects from wifi and I am looking for an alternative without subscription

Agree.
I got this same deal back in December. They brighten up the picture so much it looks washed out. Especially on sunny days. Plus, the detection zones don't work well. I have to block off 1/4 of the screen just to prevent false trigger on a spot that could be blocked with 1 just square. Setting detection sensitivity to lowest didn't help.
I recommend V3 if anyone interested with Wyze camera. Almost everything else they made suck.

Edit:
AI detection is about 80% accurate at best on this camera. I sometimes got triggered events on vehicles, gun shot, glass break, baby crying, etc. when they weren't there.
