    TurboTax Advantage

Chase's Offer details
  • My two cards with this offer: Sapphire Preferred and Chase Ink Preferred, yours may vary.
  • Earn $20 on your TurboTax purchase, when you spend $39 or more.
  • Plus, get instant TurboTax savings of 10% at checkout* – simply purchase from https://www.turbotax.com/affiliate/chase42/

Price breakdown

This Chase offer: $115 - $11.5 - $20 = $83.5

Costco deals (not available right now): $65 - $10 (in product credit) + $45 - $20 = $80

If counting state e-file, it's $20 for this offer and $25 for Costco deals.

Notes:
  • Not everyone likes TT, but it is what it is
  • Sale tax may make this deal worse than Costco's if you can wait for another sale from them.

This is a weird deal. Don't need the Premier features just deluxe. Going through Chase link, it's telling me $53 for federal, additional $59(!!!) for State. Even with $20 off and 10% off, makes much more sense to just get at Costco especially if you need state return, since 1 is included save e-file fee (-$10 for that from Costco).

I can't upload a picture but mine show $72. Maybe after the Chase link, then go Do it yourself > Doing taxes with Desktop software instead of logging right in?
Edit: Uploaded deluxe screenshot in the main post.

I purchased the same Do it yourself > Doing taxes with Desktop software > TurboTax Premier +
TurboTax Advantage as Op but linked thru my Fidelity account which gave 25% off instead of the 10% offered thru Chase link. I paid with Amex card that had $20 Turbotax cashback offer and it triggered the email that I had used the offer even though I didn't go thru the Amex link (which didn't give any discount off the product). So $86.25 with 25% discount plus $20 Amex offer if it actually posts.
