They won't last if you treat them like a regular hose.

Leaving them outside on a hose reel, leaving them pressurized, or not unrolling them fully each time is where most people go wrong.

UV exposure, temperature changes, and kinks aren't good for regular hoses either, but they're way more detrimental on a hose that has to expand each time it's used.

What I find helps tremendously with the extra care required is getting quick disconnects.

That way, you don't have to unscrew the hose each time. It also helps cut down on leaks at the spigot, since you aren't constantly torquing down on the washers.

Searched up some reviews on Reddit and pretty much every one mentioned the hoses springing leaks after a couple of months or the fabric tearing etc. Doesn't seem like a great product, which is a shame as I'd love something this compact

I got away with accidentally leaving it pressurized for several hours but it was fall / cold water.. doing this in the heat especially is a big no no.. I only bring mine in during hard freezes and been going strong for 3 years- love these things if they're cared for as you described 👍

I have two version 2.0 of this over a year now and they're both fine, no leak. I use it and store in the garage. I don't drag the hose on the ground. It's super convenient and light to carry and store. A shoe box can fit two hoses after it drain of water.
People who complaints about leak is because they treat this as heavy duty hose and store it in the sun. Know what you're buying and treat it well then it will last.
Bought two 50ft for $40 after coupons on their website.

These are all trash. I haven't had one last me more than a season - and I've purchased many. A great idea but the technology isn't there yet.

All 3 of mine ended up leaking within 5 months. I repaired and they kept springing a new one. Trashed.
