768 Wh / $239 = ~3Wh per dollar. I think anything 3Wh or higher is a pretty good deal. I own 4 of them, but got them at a higher price.

Never felt like I might need one or more of these at some point in the next couple of years than I do now. In 4 1 and a 220W solar panel.

Yes, I use one as a UPS, it works great but sometimes the fan would randomly kick on and you can hear this, noisier than my pc when it run. I set it only to top off at 80% to maintain battery life longevity

You can use them as UPS for network router, wifi. We have power outage (last few hours to few days) many times a year, so I use them power the fridge, work monitor, ...etc

Not to detail and I love the use cases, but if this is LFP, is it necessary to avoid 100% charge to prolong life? sincere question

Be very careful using anything powerful on this device. I bought 6 of them for a client and all went out. Don't use a fridge, printer, or anything similar that has a big pull when it powers on. Turn off the X-Boost feature and just use it as an 800 watt inverter and you'll be ok. Try to go above that and it'll burn out on you in no time. Thankfully the warranty is awesome and they sent me brand new replacements with the request to not use anything over 800 watts. Since then these have worked wonderfully.

if you plan to use it immediately, charge it to 100% is okay. But if you plan to store it away, charge it to 80% is better.

I have been using it daily for the past month and half to power. Small 500watt room heater in my car.
It last an hour.

I drop off my wife in hospital and sit in the car. For an out an hour. Instead of running the car on idle to keep warm. I use the small heater. This avoids wear and tear on the car engine.

By the time wife comes back. I'm down to 5% range.
Recharge it when back home

I purchased one of these along with a 220 bifacial solar panel. Both refurbished units and they arrived looking as brand new as can be. The packaging was perfect, paperwork, twist ties. I cannot find a single mark where they had been used.

I bought this last year at $279 for a small BougeRV fridge and it is fantastic to have in the car when going to the beach. I could also vacuum my car with a Miele C3 with a built-in soft start for over 30 minutes without issue. Not sure if the Xboost was on. I would buy this at this price to use as a UPS also. The capacity is on the smaller side but the weight and portability are a huge plus. Also used for camping to power a CPAP with a humidifier for two days.

This may be useful to power my cpap for a couple of nights using a dc adapter if my power goes out for an extended period of time.

Update: i'm gonna yolo it and try out my river 3 plus with extra battery (572Wh) on the fridge with x-boost on and see if it can handle it and see if my fridge does any crazy high draw defrost cycles. A 500w 45 minute defrost cycle would drain the whole thing... this is a fairly new supposedly very efficient samsung fridge though. I am slightly worried i'll brick the fridge though.
I have used the River 3 Plus and Extra Battery with a garage freezer with surge. It works fine as long as only one device is plugged in. For some reason the River 3 series does not work as well as the River 2 series when multiple AC devices are plugged in. This is with or without X Boost enabled. The River 3 Plus will often quit. My River 2 Max and River 2 Pro handle the situation fine.

But for maximizing capacity there's no question River 3 Plus works better. Less inverter draw and that's really noticeable when running 35-75 watt devices, which I do all the time.

I don't have firsthand experience but the fridge thing may be YMMV for full size ones. Some claim 1000w backups arent able to power some full-size fridges. I'd say 1000w min / 1500w+ surge would be ideal. Also, 768Wh may not last long. I'm trying to find out what the solar charge port max for this to see if the "extended power" using a lifepo4 battery would work.
The River 2 Pro has a surge rating of 1600W. And yes, YMMV for high-draw appliances.
