Really considering the L20 ultra. Anyone care to comment on it?
I like it better than my roborock s8 pro ultra.
It seems to do a better job mopping and also seems like a much higher quality product. I paid much more for the l20 ultra and at this price i feel its worth it.
Not that I know of. It plans onboard and the patterns in big open areas are consistent mower type but if there are chairs etc it needs to work around those and you get all kinds of neat swirly patterns.
Yes, you can do it. Under the floor cleaning setting.

I was considering either L20 or Qrevo pro but bought a certified Qrevo with 2 years ebay warranty instead at $399 and roborock lowered the price to 359.99 a few days later and i got a price match from them.
I got an X30 from the last sale. Extremely happy with it and it came in brand new condition. It was hard to believe that it's refurbished. The tanks even had the new plastic smell. I'm impressed with the features and cleaning ability. It also has an innovative feature that I don't think anybody else has yet, it can leave the mop pads at the base so your carpets don't get wet when vacuuming. I'm glad that I gave them a chance for our first robot mop/vacuum.

I bought one about six months ago on a similar deal. I use it almost every day and I love it. It came new. I bought it over the Revo because it has obstacle detection.
We bought a L20 Ultra on eBay a couple of months ago, and while it looked brand new, it was DOA. Dreame's tech support took a long time, I want to say around a week, to respond. Allstate would not cover it under warranty because it was dead from the start. Eventually, I was able to return it under eBay's return policy. We ended up getting a Eufy X10 Pro Omni refurbished from eBay with a similar deal on eBay.. It was $479.99 after the 20% off. We liked it so much that we bought a second one. Also, Eufy sent us two free vacuum bags for each unit after answering a short survey about what we thought. Anyway, we love the Eufy X10s. They both looked brand new, refurbished off of eBay... In the original boxes and everything.

I love my L20 ultra. I got it 15 months ago. It works well on carpet and LVP floors, and I find the app easy to use to setup virtual barriers and cleaning routines. I will say that the mopping gets floors clean, but doesn't deodorize anything. It's basically like cleaning the floors with room temperature water.
If I didn't live in a studio apartment, I'd be looking at the models with piped in hot water and dirty water drainage for maximum QoL. I pickup my socks and cords before running it, and it pretty much never gets stuck. It occasionally thinks it's stuck under my couch, but when I click in app to resume, it magically rights itself. I run it on max+ vacuum without pads across the whole apartment, then it picks up its pads and mops the non carpeted majority of the apartment. It usually takes a little over an hour for vacuum and then the same for mopping. To me, it's really only practical to run it if I know I'll be out for 2 hours or so.
Please do not buy this. It is a wonderful product until its front wheel housing breaks off. Search for dreame front wheel broken. The worse problem is the wheel can be easily replaced but the assembly which breaks is fitted all the way to the board. You have to tear down the product to get to it. Often, refurbished comes with a 2 year square trade warranty. But that is a bigger crap. They denied the claim and I no longer can put an online claim. As usual painful to get anyone on the phone.
decided to get the L20 ultra. Seems to have won vacuum wars robot of the year 2023 but my main draw to it is the auto detaching mops for high pile rugs and carpet. Most of my rugs are thick so I dont really trust lifting mop robot vacuums to be able to not get them wet but detecting the rug, mopping around it it and then going back to the base to detach the mops automatically then go vacuum the rugs seems like such an ingenious solution. idk for $439 with a 2 year warranty, seems cheap enough and worth the risk to try it out.
It is cheap and a nice product. The warranty is provided by square trade which denied my claim and too difficult to get on the phone. I gave up. The product works well until the front wheel housing breaks. See my other comment in the post.
