I was able to finally figure out a way to get it to work last night. I appears that Elegoo's Ebay postings that have the drop down that let you select different filament types are not correctly reflecting their inventory. If you go to Elegoo's Ebay Storefront and scroll down to all items you should see a bunch of different filament options.
Look for the ones with the "Buy 6, Get 4 Free" or the "Buy 10, Pay 6" titles. Click into these and look for the pages that do not let you select the filament type. In the title you will see the filament type and the only drop down will be the color that you can select. You will see that most of them are very limited in available colors. Currently matte PLA only has 2kg of ruby red remaining in stock.

I am sure someone else will chime in with an exact answer but I feed Elegoo PLA directly into the feeder unit on my AMS Lite which is mounted on top of my A1 with no issues. I can't speak to whether or not there are any feeding or spooling issues with it actually mounted on the spools of the AMS as I took mine apart shortly after it arrived
This useless hobby seems to start dying down.. it maybe good if one is to invent something but for hobbies as it was intended is really an expensive addiction, like smoking.
You're drunk man, go home. Probably shouldn't be driving, can I call you an Uber?
As a new owner of a 3D printer, I need a source of cheap, but good enough, PLA, so I can print all the gridfinity boxes I need. Any suggestions?
I bought a 4kg bundle of black from Amazon for a little under $40. Search Sunlu PLA 4kg and it should be one of the top ones. It's been great and I've used almost all 4 rolls now. I picked the PLA+ option and I think I found the deal on Slickdeals too when I bought it. If the price stays the same, that will be my go-to for black filament as it has been printing phenomenally for me. I guess it's cheaper since it's "recycled" filament. Admittedly, I am new to the hobby as well but all of the stuff I have printed with it has been great!

I am relatively new at this. It's pretty clear to me that PETG is stronger than PLA. PLA is great for things that you look at. PETG is the way to for brackets, trays, ect. Also, PETG slightly flexes, which makes it more resilient from cracking in half.
Tecbear PETG is cheap in a different SD thread. I heard it re-branded good stuff for a reputable company, sunlu I think. It's been working like a champ with my bambu labs printers. I also made some very detailed and thin lampshades with it in. And it did well. A sign made seems as strong as a tank. I'm sold on PETG, and tecbear looks like a winner.

Almost always OOS on the common colors. Plus for shipping, they just tape the individual boxes together. 7/10 were smashed so bad the spools were unusable in my ACE. Had to print support braces to even use them.
Is anyone able to get this deal to work? I keep getting a message that the items are gone, but it lets me add them to my cart and doesn't indicate that they are sold out? What is going on?

no luck here. Spent time figuring out what colors I needed and got the same message with no indicator of what the problem is.
I tried this morning on the Elegoo and got the same message. I know Elegoo right now has a shortage of filament. I ended up getting some Sunlu. They have similar deals where the coupon applies on all their filament as well: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_...bal&_oac=1
I do love Elegoo and it is on my personal 1A tier along with Polymaker as far as filaments go.
Thanks for the tip. I was getting the same error so ended up with Sunlu also, which is one of my "go to" filaments. Anything to avoid Amazon!
