See my post above. It looks like the Amazon seller lumped a bunch of configs (and reviews) on one listing. The space grey 16GB RAM 512 GB SSD seems to be an i7. Pretty sure the reviews for the M chips are other, more expensive configs.
I totally could be wrong bc the Amazon listing doesn't note scratch n' dent. But the # of reviews (858) is usually a good way to link a Woot seller with their Amazon counterpart.
Don't know why you're downvoting - not trying to be argumentative, just have a lot of experience with dodgy Woot listings. You can usually query products in the Woot forums but there's no forum link for this. Caveat emptor.

I'm 99% sure this is an M1, going by the photos and more importantly, the 802.11ax WiFi 6 description.

The intel Airs did not have WiFi 6.

Awesome price.

What a cluster frack of a listing.

The url says 'apple-macbook-air-13-m1-sd'

The specs tab says:
(1) Apple Macbook Pro 16GB RAM 512GB Space Gray S&D
Power Cord

I guess you can take screenshot and fight Woot if they send you a heavily damaged Macbook Air aruging that you were expecting a Macbook Pro 16GB with 512GB SSD.

Plus if you get an Intel Macbook Air, you can fight them over not having Wifi AX.

Either way if you have time and expect a Macbook Air, this shuldn't be that risky of a purchase.

Check - that's a good data point. You may well be right, I just don't quite trust the 4.0 seller rating.. At that price might well be worth the gamble, especially if there's a return option.

These are still good for 90% of the crowd with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. But S&D is a bummer.
S&D really isn't a bummer as long as the display panel is in good shape because you can throw a skin on the laptop and then nobody would be the wiser. A top skin is $25 shipped from Proskinz; I recommend putting in your order notes that they not cut out the Apple logo if you go this route as it makes for a great anti-theft deterrent (No shiny Apple logo for dumb thieves to see) and dirt can get trapped in the logo cut-out.
I'm willing to bet a good chunk of these have sticker marks left over on the anodized aluminum chassis which is why they are being sold as scratch and dent.

After seeing the MB Pro mentioned in the "specs", I don't know how trustworthy the description is. lol

Woot is very good about returns especially if something's not right, so I'm not worried.

Likely worth the gamble despite the ultra-confusing description- if it turns out it's Intel (not Apple Silicon), would return

I don't know I just pulled a trigger. I'll return if it's intel though.

I'm on the fence with this. It's good specs for the price but Woot S&D is so hit or miss. Sometimes you get a mint condition with 99% batt cap, other times you get one that's been through war and 86%. With eBay or Best Buy "refurbished" I prefer to buy two or three, check the condition and battery life, keep the one that's the best and return the others. With Woot returns and refunds are a total pain. Sometimes they just offer you credit or partial refund.
Too much money on the line for partial credits. I can't do it!

I've had the opposite experience with returns from Woot. Usually they want to chat back and forth about what's wrong and why you want a refund, offer % off or partial discount and you keep what was sent. Definitely not as easy as Amazon. Woot and NewEgg lately have gotten annoying. Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing Woot, I've gotten some good deals there but I don't want to write a novel or join the monkey chat to get a refund.

The last bit of the URL is apple-macbook-air-13-m1-sd which is auto-generated based on the product name. That means they used to have m1 in the product name and had it removed. You're getting intel laptops. I wanted to believe too.

Under the "Specs" tab, it says:

So what is it? Air? Pro? Which processor? It's like grandma going to gamestop and asking for one of them new Macrosoft Ataris that play the Marios as a gift to her "gamer" grandson.

I may be missing something, but nowhere on the product description do I see where it says "M1"; it could be an older Intel chipset.

I would NOT buy an Intel MacBook Air at this point. (Whereas if this is truly an M1 with 16 gigs and 512, it's a good deal.)
I asked Chatgpt, here is Chatgpt's answer: This listing is for a refurbished 13-inch MacBook Air that features the Apple M1 chip. The specs—Retina display, Touch ID, two Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 ports, and 802.11ax Wi‑Fi 6—match the design of the MacBook Air released in November 2020, which is powered by the M1 chip.

The Intel M1 also had those specs:
