All their boots are fugly, fortunately when you get into your 40's you stop giving a f*ck.
There is a waterproof version of the mid boot -- the Moab 3 Vista Mid Waterproof. It features a breathable waterproof membrane. With the Mentorbuffet25 coupon it is $56.24, only $7.50 more than the non-waterproof mid hiker. Note not all sizes are available and there only appears to be one color -- mosstone/multi.

One review said it is not breathable while not waterproof (as intended). It just made this shoes useless.

I wear the grey moab 3 and I think they look great. It's a pretty hard sole shoe, I thought vibrams would be more flexible. This sounds kindof weird but they aren't a "beginner" shoe lol. They are better for if your feet are already muscular from walking a lot, or your feet will be very tired after a day.

No boot or shoes is waterproof. Only leather boots. Thats a fact!

Good mud shoes but only the goretex. I only wear them when I take the dog to the park on a $hit day

I do desert/mountain hiking and any of the Moab line is a sold shoe. They're tough, last forever, and have great traction. They do sell waterproof versions of their shoes, but they're more expensive.

I came from the old tan hiking boot days. We have no idea how good we have it now Big Grin

How are these for width? I currently wear an 11.5 wide Reebok, but it really varies with brands on whether or not I need wide (usually I just get wide for comfort, not a necessity). Should I just get an 11.5, or jump up to a 12 since they don't offer widths in this line?

Weird - it showed me military gets 20% discount with ID.me when I verified, but it never actually took anything off above the original discount code. Figured maybe it didn't apply to sales items.

Mine took off $13, but said 10%. $13 would have been 20% off the original price. Final price is $51.99 pre tax.

I think the price went up by the time I saw this.
