It's really cold in New England and the weather is causing my tires to deflate a bit. I've been looking for a compact wireless air compressor and this one meets my portability requirements, and at a super discount right now. Normally $69.99 but with the coupon and discount on the Amazon listing page, it's just $22.59. These not only work for car tires, but will go great with my road bicycles and my basketball/volleyballs. This will save my back from the constant manual pumping!

OP you say $24 after coupons but seems it's actually $22.59 after coupons, in case you want to update your post?

Would be great if you could just bypass the battery and use it with external power. I'm not sure why most of these only advertise battery operation.

because only the battery can supply that much power, it appears that the charge port on this is a 5V USB at 1 amp.

Thanks OP. I've been wanting to get a new one to replace my older, bulkier, massage gun style tire pump.

It would cost about a buck to add a DC bypass. A single cap, and either a DC jack or soldered in DC car lighter jack. The reason they don't, is planned obsolescence. The battery will fail, at which point there are no battery replacements, as Lisen has no onshore presence.

CCP knows you'll be back to buy another from one of their brands next year.

I can't speak to this one, but the LiIon batteries and usage cycles on these tend to mean they often don't last a year.

Hence why I always recommend a long DC/lighter corded compressor instead.

These are great from motorcycles and other small tires but don't be fooled by the PSI rating. The CFM rating dictates how much airflow it has which is only .7 meaning it would take forever to inflate a car tire. I have a similar one and it takes forever just to inflate my 33" tires just 10 psi

Because it wouldn't make much sense. There is already a boatload of compressors that use 12V power, and adding more power to the wimpy compressor in this one wouldn't serve much purpose. This is designed for portability, and if you have access to external power, then portability probably isn't an issue.

All reviews are by customers who got the product for free. Little hesitant to pull the plug. But a very good deal.
