The data is summarized and individual data points on spO2 and heart rate aren't accessible
The ring scratches pretty easily (I chose basic silver)
Actual battery life is more like 3-4 days

Ultimately I returned it because I wanted to see more data. It's nice to see I've had 6 interrupted sleeping events, but show me what my blood oxygen was for them. I would also like for it to allow blood oxygen monitoring during activity and to tell me what my heart rate was at any given time, not a summarized range.
If oura would share the raw data with the end user, I would have kept the ring. As a paid service, it simply wasn't telling me enough specific information.
Don't forget that oura ring is hsa/fsa approved, and so is the subscription.
$70/year plus a ~$250 ring that apparently gets scratched easily is quite a bit of extra money. Plus one more expensive thing to charge and lose. As much as I like useful toys, the specs seem fairly redundant.

I'm looking for the best heart and O2 continuous tracker that will scan every few seconds. I have some heart and breathing issues so having this data will be valuable, especially while I'm sleeping.
I was looking at this or some of the wellue products but don't mind spending a lot of money on the best product for heart and o2 live tracking.

I've said this before, but if the Samsung does ring does not require a subscription, get it on all fronts
I also wear an Apple Watch, but do not wear it for sleep tracking as I don't like it on my wrist.
I find the benefit in the Oura ring as a much more comfortable sleep tracker. The Apple Watch tracks all data, but does not give it to the user in a digestible and actionable way, just raw data. The Oura ring continuously tracks heart rate, HRV and sleep data to tell you from a data standpoint how your body is feeling. It also provides a "stress" tracker that updated every 15 minutes throughout the day, based on HR, HRV. Whether you find value in these metrics is up to the user. There is some pseudoscience to these metrics, but it is backed up by real research.

It is a nice to have but if you are serious about training get a Garmin or a Pixel Watch3
