I think you've got that backwards. Doves are typically more expensive than Hummingbirds (Gibsons at least), as well as longer scale (25.5 vs 24.75).

if you want a Dove this is a great deal but if you are just looking for a great playing guitar you can find better.

I agree. Was pretty disappointed in the sound. Really stiff sounding to me. Does look nice though.
