It's expensive compared to other mice, but it is worth. The ergonomics itself worth it. Cheap mice don't work as well. I used cheap mice for my first 25 years of computing. Last 5 years have all been premium gear. Will never go back and my kids also have good gear.
Awesome to hear the improvements this mouse has made in your lives. Great to know. Thank you for sharing.

I had the original, just upgraded but got the super light 2 dex. Oh man, if you're right handed spring for the dex, it's so much more comfortable and you can get a better grip on it. It's designed for right handed people. The regular version is ambidextrous. Still has a great feel but the dex version is icing on the cake.

Thank you. I don't use it for gaming. it's for software dev work and general use. I game with ps5 controller lol.
for general office work, get an MX Master... they're fantastic.

I have this mouse and think it's extremely overpriced. Lots of good options on the market if you're not looking for this specific mouse.

Many mouse companies offer a similar shaped gaming mouse as this nowadays (i.e. medium sized, ambidextrous, minimalistic, lightweight). This is actually probably the most common shape now. Almost like there was a convergence, the same way phones converged to look similar to each other.

Just get the 305 and call it a day unless you really want "pro" level.

It's not so much if you're right handed, but more if you use your right hand. Back in the 90s as a kid I just learned using my right hand because it was in the right side. By the time the genius in le realized I could use the other side, it was too late. Do agree tho, it's worth it.

This or G502 X Plus? Want to replace Basilisk Ultimate, its ready to retire.
Honestly I just moved from a gen 1 G pro to the x502 plus. I really like the weight of the 502 but my pointer finger and thumb inadvertently hit the G4,5,6,7 buttons. So I'm considering taking it back. My solution is to disable those buttons but that kinda defeats the purpose of the mouse.

Super light, it's amazing. Better than just about every other mouse. That other model is more for macros this one is an FPS mouse.

I would advise getting a cheaper mouse than, it's a total waste of money, buy a budget entry level Logitech mouse for 20-40 dollars. I think the g304 or something like that.

for this price, I hope this mouse can do AI programming all by itself.
It's worth it if you have the money to spend, I'm sure it will hold up for 3-5 years, I've had mine for a year and it's still like new. More feels amazing battery lasts forever, if you want a budget mode that's like it there's an Ajazz mouse that costs around $40 on sale it looks just like this more.

I would get one with the most programmable buttons. I have the G604 and it is amazing for software development. You can program macros onto the memory chip so you don't need the g hub software installed on the machine.
I also had a g602 and then g604. Not sure if you know this or not, but both are DEAD. Logitech no longer even makes a similar mouse with 6 side buttons like both the aforementioned mice had. They've totally scrapped the idea, sadly. I my 604's rubber started peeling off a few weeks back. I replaced it with a g502 x wireless… it doesn't even compare. I miss my g604

Mx master is the only mouse I can use. It's the only mouse that sits tall enough not to give me pain. I don't understand why nobody makes anything similar, not even Logitech themselves. I wish the G series were as tall as the master
