Do not insure or extend warranties for easily replaced and low cost items. You are near paying a third the cost to get it covered and it takes it well out of deal or good value territory.

It is not smart financially and can leave you much worse off financially over a lifetime. They do not sell it to protect the consumer they sell it to get money from the consumer. It is not a deal or value in any way but a ripoff and they are making billions on it.

Compared the 3k to acebeam M1 Lep and convoy z1 5000k last weekend, and the lumens extra lumens on z1 aren't worth it.

Sure, if you just want a bright light, go for that, but if you want to know what it is you are looking at in the woods, the high CRI is way more useful. People forget our perception of brightness is logarithmic.

10k lumens doesn't appear 10x brighter than 1k, its more like 2-3 times. At 100 yards, the extra lumens of white aren't useful, but seeing what color something actually is can be very useful.

If they made a 5000k version, I'd be down, but 3000k and only 1000 lumens is too meh. Most headlights are 6000k nowadays, so I don't mind white flash lights... I'm not outside painting some Banksy masterpiece at mightnight.

This is a great spotlight, but go for the 3000k version, less lumens, much better color

Amazing light for the price. I believe this is within a dollar of the cheapest it's ever been, and is definitely the cheapest shipped from the US/Amazon deal by a at least $5+. I'm going to order another one.

The 4 year accidental protection plan for $11 seems like a decent deal too.

It's rare that I buy an extended warranty on anything, and generally, it's not a smart idea. I doubt I've purchased an extended warranty for more than 10 things over the past 20 years. The chances of me dropping this while riding 20-40mph on asphalt over the next four years are high enough that $11 is cheap for a guaranteed $40 replacement. Plus it'll cover the one I already own, since AllShit won't know the difference.

Plus, while Wurkkos lights are made by Sofirn, their customer service is basically nonexistent. I've seen lots of comments on here and reddit that say it takes months to get replies, after emailing several times, and they never get a warranty replacement. I'd prefer buying Sofirn lights, but Wurkkos has better designs, specs, models, etc.

Yeah $11 warranty on a $40 item is actually a horrible deal.

It will stay on turbo for like half an hour if I remember right from a Youtube video test I watched, due to it being driven by the buck driver instead of a mosfet.
