To all my fellow pickleballers out there...if you want great specs without the brand name (and hefty price), this is a great paddle. Especially if you are a spinner. Even if you are a beginner, this is worth it. I've used this paddle for the last 6 months and the grit has lasted (play 3-4 times a week, rating 3.5-3.75 depending on the day, lol).

With both the $30 coupon clip, plus the 20% ($26), this puts 2 paddles at
$74 before tax. That is roughly $37 per paddle with a carbon fiber face. And the balls, bag and overgrips are just bonus.

**YMMV on 20% discount**
Order Summary
Item(s) Subtotal:
$159.11
Shipping & Handling:
$0.00
Your Coupon Savings:
-$30.00
Promotion applied:
-$26.00
Total before tax:
$103.11
Estimated tax to be collected:
$6.19
Grand Total:
$109.30

Without the 20% it's $50 per paddle, which is still very good for specs/carbon fiber face (albeit, not as slick as $37).

Cant replicate... i see $30 + 20% if you buy 4 total paddles or 20% + 20% if you buy 2 single paddles

Thanks, I updated post for the 20% as YMMV. Not exactly sure if the 20% was targeted without the promotion.

This is not worth the price even at $37 per paddle.

Wow.
Can you elaborate your reasons on that? I'm truly interested.
Thanks.

Plenty of paddles under that price point or similar price point that are better.

this was $13 a paddle the other week, if you just care about price.

Both of the ones you suggested are 3k carbon fiber faces as compared to T700 on mine which would explain the price difference (and play difference).
3K carbon fiber
  • A tightly woven material with a high density of carbon fibers
  • Created by twisting three 1K carbon fibers together
  • Strong and resistant to breaking
  • Commonly used in high-performance applications like racing bicycles and aircraft components
T700 carbon fiber
  • A higher-performance grade of carbon fiber with increased strength and stiffness
  • Commonly used in applications where enhanced performance is desired, such as aerospace and sporting goods
  • T700 fibers are available in 6K, 12K, and 24K tow sizes
Thank you for your contributions to the conversation and hopefully gives good information to players of all skill levels. Any of the above would be better than fiberglass and/or wooden paddles.
Play pickleball, y'all!

There's much more to a paddle than just the surface material. A T700 cf paddle doesn't necessarily mean it's better than all other materials. There are fiberglass and graphite face paddles that I would venture are much better than this paddle. You are also trusting that when they say T700, they actually mean T700, or there's actually enough T700 to make it spin very well. With all due respect, one person with 18 rep on SD doesn't exactly make for a convincing argument to buy some no name brand on Amazon. There are literally hundreds of these on Amazon, most of which are trash. If someone wants a cheap but good CF paddle, get a Juciao paddle on ali or temu. At least with those, there have been hundreds of good testimony on them.

Either way, the paddle you posted isn't a deal.
