Sweet! I saw a Reddit post about it, and I didn't know it was already out. Thanks for the information.
Ah, OK. That's not too bad then. Thankfully you get a 3 year warranty as well.
I'd rather have Fire TV.
My Tablo does not work well with Roku.
I have one Roku TV, but I use a Fire Cube on it.

I really like the LG but can't stand the OS especially with a small toddler. As soon as the tv boots up, it has all these adds and suggestions and much prefer the cleaner Roku as an OS so you aren't slammed with a million images right when you turn on the tv.
I do have an Apple TV but you first have to turn on the tv and click to get to Apple tv and of course toddlers are toddlers and in that few moments they see all the images being thrown in their face.
Just bought the tv yesterday from this deal, it looks amazing, I think this is a sleeper tv (car term)
But if you want Roku on a oled platform this might be the only competitor.
I turned it on this morning and it booted up super fast, menu options on the Oled settings are snappy and gives you options for vivid and standard but you can tweak more of those settings.
Linking up to other sound output devices like a soundbar was super quick and easy with earc port. Does give you options for connecting to a wireless sound devices I guess if supported by the Roku platform.
HDR has 3 options, HDR (Dark), Standard, Bright, I'm sticking with Dark to give it a more natural feel.
There's also an expert mode settings that lets you tweak the dynamic contrast and other settings.
I'm still doing a few more tests but I can't compare it to the C4 or the Bravia 8, I will say I'm super happy with my purchase cause I wasn't necessarily excited for the os both of those provide, I love the simplicity of the Roku platform and boot up time and it syncs to my ps5 perfectly.

Hi Derek, thanks for mentioning this,
So fyi I did the purchase yesterday, just went with my gut on this one, so I did more testing this morning and I think this one has the option but under a different name
Hitting the gear icon while watching video, it pulled up the settings menu on the left, went to (Picture Settings), (Customize Picture), (Expert Settings), (Action Smoothing) this gives you options for Low, Medium, High

So you're saying it doesn't give you the option to turn it off?!?
Hard to say. Back in the day Funai used to make consumer Philips TVs through a licensing deal. Actual Philips was selling TVs in Europe. A Hong Kong company called TPV bought Philips (they make AOC monitors), now it's a subsidiary called TP Vision. They're still decent quality TVs in Europe. I think their HQ is still in Europe and TPV hasn't killed off the actual Philips division, they just own them and it's a subsidiary. The only TVs real Philips sold in the US were commercial TVs for hospitals, hotels, etc.
Nowadays, who knows if Funai makes rebadged Philips TVs for the US consumer market or if the actual Philips (owned by TPV) is now selling TVs again in the US. You definitely want the Philips/TPV TVs over the Funai ones.

Apologies, just got home to take another look, and it does give you the option to turn it off

Sorry for the delay, just took another look and the tv uses a standard C14 connector on the power cord, and the corresponding C13 connector on the wall outlet. This is on the right side of the panel.
Good question, it doesn't market the ports as 2.1, it has 4 ports and the first port is earc, when trying to double check on the ps5 it just showed VRR support and a couple of other options.
