Got the g2 max from the last deal a couple weeks ago for $599. Wondering if this is worth returning the g2 max for.

I just use the scooter for light commuting and around the town riding. Some hills. I don't know if this is overkill and worth $300 more.

Don't forget it's $850 plus a free accessory which costs another $30. So net difference(not including tax) between the G2 you bought and this one is $220. I would totally pickup the G3 if I was in your shoes and return the G2.

If the 2000w is real, math tells us that g3 can run at about 6mph under max load on a 30 degree slop.
If using the 850w number, it will be like 2.5mph at this condition. These are optimum numbers though.

E-bikes are great too. Scooters minimize storage space, can work on public transit, and can easily fit in the trunk of a car (useful for me, but may not matter for you). I also like ability to bring my scooter inside at various places. Different strokes for different folks.

passed on this and got a hi-boy "factory certified customer return" with air tires at around 31 lbs claiming up to 19mph for $250 w/ tax/shipping. got dead flat terrain around here and crime/theft has become rampant in the past 5 or so years. this thing has to go inside buildings, leaving it unattended is not an option and locking things up isn't fun or really theft proof, either.
