Great game, lots of replay. This is the budget version (no 4th player) but totally worth it.

This isn't a simple game and it can be tough to win. Highly recommend.

I already own the original Spirit Island, but bought this for $15 just to get 5 new easier-difficulty spirits to use in the original.

I picked up Spirit Island a few months ago and it's quickly become one of my favorite games. Horizons of Spirit Island works as a standalone game (slightly simplified) for 2-3 players, but more importantly for me, it adds 5 really great new spirits that can be incorporated into the original game as an expansion. Just one warning - the 5 spirit boards are made of a slim flexible playing card material rather than the stiffer cardboard material used in the base game and all other expansions.

I love board games and buy them all the time. This game is always rated super high and people love it. But it just didn't hit for me. It just seems too long and complicated for the amount of fun it is. I'm glad I bought this version versus the full version to test it out.
People love it though. The full version is a lot of people's favorite board game.
