Thanks for posting this OP .. I've been using one of these (the PNY 3.0 speed 64 GB usb drive) for a while to transfer files between PC's and have been pretty happy with it. Haven't tried using it as a boot drive (say to install Windows or as recovery media for say the free version of Macrium Reflect 7) but I'm guessing at this price it would be a faster/better option than the cheap PNY usb 2.0 32 GB thumb drives I've been using for that purpose ... heck this is the same price only better (64 GB and usb 3.0) than my $17 pack of five 32 gb usb 2.0 speed drives I ordered back in 2023

Yes Ventoy, thanks. Can I format a large flashdrive half as storage and then the other half as few bootable partitions with operating systems for installation?

Yes. I have a drive with a few OSes and portable programs or drivers that I know would come in handy if I was trying to rescue a system.
I had a hard time booting with 32 GB version of these just last night trying to install Ubuntu 24.04 on a very old system. Turns out it wasn't seeing the drive as as USB-HDD, it was in the list of regular drives with the lowest boot priority. So I actually had to move it above my 3 other drives to boot into Ventoy. I've installed at least 4 different OSes through thumb drives through the years on this computer and I was tearing my hair out going through all the different things it could be. I thought I'd found all the frustrations you could have booting from a thumb drive. Who knows what waits for me next year.
