500 watt motor, ~700 wh battery... this isnt worth. i put this in the same price frame as the smaller fat tire bikes as it as the same components found in those smaller bikes but I penalize this bike for being too big for its motor/battery.. if the price range for the smaller form factor fat tire models is $500-600, i put this at $500

You're not getting hydraulic brakes, a 500w motor, and a 13ah battery for $500. Not even from unbranded Amazon ebikes.

Stop looking, you won't find one.
Local shops won't fix something they haven't sold.
There's a reason you're saving a lot of money with deals like this.
You can bid for one of these on ebay and pay less, but think of it as disposable either way.
I've had one from a similar SD deal years ago and have been very happy (any other Gen3 owners out there?).
This looks like a fine starter e-bike.
