I managed to get the 3423dwf version open box at best buy for $449. It was in excellent condition and came with everything still in the wrapping. It was practically brand new

I have this and absolutely love it but my gripes are that the display port is only 1.4 and that it has no headphone jack. I would rather it had 3x hdmi 2.1 than 2x and 1x slow DP. Having a console hooked up to this leaves no great solution for sound other than headphones connected to controller or BT through console. Audio extractors add latency and good ones are $

Yeah this was a complete bummer, I had the same when it was in my office. Now I have it near my living room setup, with hdmi 2.1 from the receiver and preout stereo to desk amp. Such a poor design choice

At Newegg the MSI 321CURX is bundled with RTX 50 GPUs. People are offloading the monitor.
Check your local listings, might find some good deals and no tax. Typically 750 - 800.
I'm trying to sell mine for $700 since my area stinks for tech items.

Called dell and had them price match it to microcenter. As far as dp1.4 vs 2.1 is concerned you probably wont notice a difference and the msi monitor is 1300, so for 400 bucks i'll be allright. It will run at 120hz with no compression over dp1.4, oh also I have a 4090 and have no intention of buying a 50 series right now because the prices are out of control.

DP 1.4 has a lower max bitrate than HDMI 2.1, but they both support 4K120 or 4K240 with DSC, which the product page seems to agree with. Although I'm unsure on DisplayPort's ability to do VRR at 2160p240 as it doesn't state it specifically.

Also, this monitor supports eARC over one of the HDMI ports, is that where you were talking about extracting from?
