Never going to happen, until 256 is the minimum. All they have to do is use slower NAND and bump capacity. However, doing so means fewer will pay for cloud storage.

Seems like a great deal. Used google number to port in. Keeping my current service/number on my iphone 12. In 60 days when it unlocks, ill move my esim for current service/number to the iphone 15.

I've ported my T-Mo phone number into it, have been using it for 60 days, and the phone unlocks, what now?
Can I get new service on the newly-unlocked phone on T-Mo (together with my ported number) and deactivate my old phone? BAM! New iPhone 15 for $394?
Free country, you can do whatever you want once it is unlocked.

Great price but doing the ID thing. with some 3rd party is a no go for me. I hope taht there will be a similar deal coming from ST etc. that doesn't require it.

I was thinking the same. Do you mean the 14 day trial number? It should because it does give you a pin # etc

What's the carrier deal with 16e that ppl keep mentioning on this thread? Who's offering it outright unless they mean to directly order from Apple?

I've been reading all these forums on the 16e . I needed a new phone , I'm not into having the newest thing and always liked the se , my last phone se3 , se2 , 7 . I decided in store last minute to get a 13 150$ cheaper . Anyway of all the pros of the 16e I've read none of them seemed beneficial to me until I read this. The signal programming upgrade may have been worth the 150$ .

"The signal programming upgrade may have been worth the 150$ ."

Can you elaborate?

Go and watch this video from MacRumors, fast-forward the time stamp to 'Apple's C1 Chip test.' He explains it better than I can.

For those with Citi cards, check for widely available Total Wireless Citi Offer for 12% back on up to $30 to stack for additional savings. Had the offer on most of my Citi cards when I checked today.

How does the phone becomes activation lock? Do you mean you cannot activate with carrier or iclould lock?
SIM Activation. The phone gets forced back to the Setup.app you get on first boot but fails to activate the second sim. Leaving you stuck (unable to get back to the Home Screen)

How could this be possible?
