I tried playing this again recently and it's just not as good as 2016 doom. I never finished it. They really force the chainsaw and brutal kills. Like if you're not pretty much constantly switching those up you're not gonna be able to play. It's a cool mechanic but it leans on it way too hard and forces it constantly. Even if it was half as much it would have been excessive.
