The Beast is the only good sub that they have. Absolutely filled with meat. Alot of their coupons now specifically exclude The Beast.

I'll go ahead and say I'll never buy unless they are $5 as well. I'm very happy to never eat at Subway ever again.

This is inaccurate information! You're making a "blanket" statement, based upon inaccurate information posted on Reddit! This is determined by the specific franchise (unfortunately). It is not a "blanket" Subway policy. The actual details specify ANY footlong for $6.99! I was able to use the $6.99 code for "The Beast" in 3 different locations over the past week or so.
....and what's up with that Redditor's "be respectful" nonsense? If the particular location doesn't accept coupon codes, then you'll be bypassing that location!....so where's the opportunity for anyone to be disrespectful?? That's pointless!

The $6.99 deal doesn't exclude "The Beast". In fact, it doesn't exclude any footlong sandwiches. That decision is left up to the particular franchise (unfortunately). Most don't except paper coupons or coupon codes.... period!

I don't care about the current state of the economy or inflation -- $5.00 is my absolute maximum price for a Subway footlong, for now and forever.

Subway should have never messed with that jingle which has set our expectations for one's full term of life.

Make sure you use the app or have a coupon with a barcode either printed out or on your phone that they can scan. I walked in to my local Subway, specifically asked if I could use the code before ordering, and was told yes. When I got the the register they refused because I didn't have a physical coupon or a barcode on my phone for them to scan. They said I could use the app and reorder, but I was only able to pay cash, which you can't do on the app, and my order for two footlong subs went up to $28 and change instead of the $12.99 + tax.
