I have been using these for years on my glasses without issues. Alcohol percentage must be low enough that it doesn't cause damage.

This. I've used these for at least 5 years. Daily use for my glasses, sunglasses (rx), kids glasses and work colleagues who hit me up for them. Even use them to clean phone screens. Zero, absolutely zero issues with lens coating coming off.

A bifocaled coworker used these every day and I bought a pack for my blue light blockers. No complaints.

I've used them for all kinds of light cleaning. They do feel like they might be a little bit scratchy but I haven't noticed any damage to anything yet.

I clean the rest of my glasses as they get oily and use a microfiber cloth on the lenses if I'm on the run. I also use these on my phone, remotes, Xbox controller, and the fridge door handles and sink if they're still wet without having to put on disposable gloves and using Clorox wipes.
