Anker just announced a mild refresh for this unit, the F3800 Plus. Available later this week at $3200 for the refresh unit plus a 400W portable panel plus a protective cover.
The significant upgrades from the refresh are improvements to the solar inputs (higher voltage, more power) and ability to accept 240V input to charge & bypass.
If either of those are important, it might be better to wait for the refresh. If not, the base F3800 is commonly available below $2500, which might be a better deal unless you can take advantage of the military discount.
