I've had this laptop since Thanksgiving of last year and I really love it at $650, at $450 and even cheaper open box is insane. Amazing battery life, good performance for your everyday tasks like web browsing, office apps, streaming, and I'm able to do light gaming on PC Game Pass games.
Minor cons are the build quality is a bit flimsy/bendy and is quite the fingerprint magnet, but otherwise I highly recommend it for anyone that needs an all purpose device that's ok with not spending twice as much to get a higher resolution or refresh rate.

I just tried to price match this laptop since I also bought it last month for $100 more, it was worth a try, but I wasn't able to do it sadly. To me this laptop is still 100% worth it even though I paid more, it was already a steal for that price, I'm surprised they're discounting it more.

Yes, I don't have civ6, but I'm able to play civ5, and even Fortnite at a solid 60fps. The integrated apu has seriously improved on the lunar lake chips.

There has to be a return policy, or else it's just chaos. Those which say no just aren't trying. Have them send you up the chain and see how likely they are to figure something out for you. It's about customer retention.

Sounds like a dream scenario where word gets out that someone bought something a month ago and got a price match because of "customer retention". Then everyone who bought something a month or two months ago wants their PM also because of "customer retention". Is that what you're suggesting? Policies are there not just to ward off chaos -- they are the rules and people should not expect the policies to be broken for the excuse of "I'll never buy anything at Best Buy again if you don't ignore the rules and give me my $100 back!". Sounds ridiculous.

EDIT: Best Buy offers longer return and price match periods in their $49 Plus membership.

Looks good for a laptop after I checked the CPU specs. Seems like 2500 single core and 10k multiple

sits between M1 and M2 Mac Processing so that's a decent speed vs. my old windows devices using 1260p and 1255u. temping...

If you think you buy enough stuff from BB in a year, just pay the $49 for the Plus membership and get 60 days to return or PM. It could pay for itself just in the PM savings!
