About this Game:
  • Uncover one of history's greatest mysteries in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a first-person, single-player adventure set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark™ and The Last Crusade™. The year is 1937, sinister forces are scouring the globe for the secret to an ancient power connected to the Great Circle, and only one person can stop them - Indiana Jones™. You'll become the legendary archaeologist in this cinematic action-adventure game from MachineGames, the award-winning studio behind the recent Wolfenstein series, and executive produced by Hall of Fame game designer Todd Howard.
  • Live the adventure as Indy in a thrilling story full of exploration, immersive action, and intriguing puzzles. As the brilliant archaeologist – famed for his keen intellect, cunning resourcefulness, and trademark humor – you will travel the world in a race against enemy forces to discover the secrets to one of the greatest mysteries of all time.
  • Travel from the halls of Marshall College to the heart of the Vatican, the pyramids of Egypt, the sunken temples of Sukhothai, and beyond. When a break-in in the dead of night ends in a confrontation with a mysterious colossal man, you must set out to discover the world-shattering secret behind the theft of a seemingly unimportant artifact. Forging new alliances and facing familiar enemies, you'll engage with intriguing characters, use guile and wits to solve ancient riddles, and survive intense set-pieces.
  • Indiana's trademark whip remains at the heart of his gear and can be used to distract, disarm, and attack enemies. But the whip isn't just a weapon, it's Indy's most valuable tool for navigating the environment. Swing over unsuspecting patrols and scale walls as you make your way through a striking world. Combine stealth infiltration, melee combat, and gunplay to combat the enemy threat and unravel the mystery .
  • Venture through a dynamic mix of linear, narrative-driven gameplay and open-area maps. Indulge your inner explorer and unearth a world of fascinating secrets, deadly traps and fiendish puzzles, where anything could potentially hide the next piece of the mystery – or snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?

Just FYI:
If your GPU doesn't support "ray tracing" you will be unable to play the game. It's the first game I've run into with issues like this having a 1080ti (pretty ancient at this point I know but still plenty fast enough to run all modern games). Figured I'd say something since it may save someone the time of purchase/download/install/refund

Game was surprisingly fun and played through the end. Although got it free on xbox live and dont know how i would value it, i.e., worth $45 or not

This game is 100 percent worth this. I got it for free on Gamepass but I'm planning on buying on PS5 (my gaming laptop was not able to give the game full graphical fidelity, though it scaled surprisingly well)

It's a good game marred by an incredibly boring last third and a wtf ending.

Good to know. Gtx1080 here as well. Its done everything I've asked it to despite its age.

I'm afraid we may be seeing a bit of forced obsolescence for those of us who bought a solid GPU back in the day. First time that's happened to me with a computer part. Usually it's clear in multiple things that it's time for an upgrade, but not once has my 1080ti let me down.

Man, what's up with the super-inflated MSRPs anymore? I saw this earlier with Cascade powder being MSRP'ed at $11...when *normally* it's between $6-7.

Excellent game albeit some periods of lag (likely bad optimization) in the beginning

This is a great piece of Indiana Jones content, surely the best since Last Crusade.

I played it through and I'm still not sure if it's a great game. It has many pieces of a great game, but plays more like "Dime Store First-Person Uncharted" than a true AAA game.

If you're a huge Indy fan, definitely play it. But maybe just get a month of Game Pass for PC or Xbox instead of laying down $45. The game isn't long, you can definitely finish it in a month.

If you were intent on purchasing it, I'd try to spend $20-30.

This is an excellent game. One might nitpick here and there, but there so many aspects to this game that are just exceptional, that they elevate the whole experience. Story-wise it's a great Indiana jones story. The voice acting is just phenomenal. The graphics are amongst the best (Digital foundry rated this game to have the best graphics of the year). The gameplay is consistently fun. The level design is just excellent - something that almost every review pointed out.

One tip - do all the side quests. All side-quests fit into the main campaign. They could just as easily have been made into main story missions. And I don't know how folks are calling in short. If you do all the side missions, it's a decently long game. Any longer and it would felt artificially padded out.
