It has a 2400w continuous inverter with 4800w surge. Is it going to run your AC... no. Will it run your fridge, microwave, TV, modem and router... yes.
You can get a 8kWh system (4 x Delta 2 Max) for about $2800 before tax, which includes 4 separate inverters, so if one unit dies, you are down to 6kWh. The Ultra is 7.2kWh for $4500 and can power your HVAC, more of a whole home solution vs running critical appliances. If that inverter goes down, then you have a brick. That whole home system comes at additional costs of a sub panel, transfer switch and 30/50amp inlet. Expect another $1000 to $3000 depending on the transfer switch.
For any of these, if you need to increase capacity, you can purchase 12v to 48v Lifepo4 batteries for $160 to $220 a kWh and recharge the Ecoflow using a DC to DC cable. This means the Delta 2 Max can be 'expanded' by attaching 500Wh to 5kWh batteries. You can scale up or down as you need. At least with the Delta 2 Max you can move the units to where you need them rather than be stuck with powering specific circuits in your sub panel.
Top it all off, you may have an easier time selling a small unit than the monster, should you decide to exit the position of using battery backups. Here is the breakdown, as I see it:
$200 per kWh, so $400 in battery cost
$200 inverter
$400+$200 = $600
$700-$600 = $100 price premium
So the price premium is $100 for this unit. Which could be argued as not really a premium if you trust their BMS and other safety features... like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and the app monitoring. Heck people pay $$ for the better lifepo4 batteries because of this. Look up Eco Worthy vs LiTime vs Renogy batteries. The price varies from $180 to $500 per kWh.

Then a 5 year warranty with a trusted company vs a Eco Worthy 2 or 3 year warranty. What is that worth?
