As a wyze camera user my take on these are

+ battery does seem to last a long time
+ Does have live view that seemed reliable for the few minutes I streamed it.
- reviewing events is clucky as hell, virtually useless
- very little customization and can't turn off ir emitters in night mode.

= Would not recommend

It's seems similar to my reolink based on the reviews. Pricing is about on par too. Reolink does have solar ones with more features and 5g.

With solar cameras, you have to keep the expectations lower, as it utilizes minimal power to keep the battery charged. So don't expect it to record continuously like a typical camera.

I got one of these along with the non-solar version with base station last time they were on sale. This one has been sitting on my desk while I play with it. It's actually not bad for $25. Image is quite clear and motion sensing is pretty good.
Unlike most after market solar panel, the one in this kit doesn't have a built-in battery so it just charges the camera itself.
One thing I don't see mentioned anywhere. It has a ring of flood light that comes on when camera is triggered. I can't find how to turn that off.

if you turn off color setting in night mode, it prevents the flood light from activating

Can these do continously record? I have the n20 system, but they only record for 1min. The bulb cameras are solid!

I ordered a camera under this deal. Great price point, but the camera is terrible. I mounted the solar panel and mounted the camera. I have very strong mesh routers on my Wi-Fi system despite great Wi-Fi in the area, the camera could rarely establish a secure connection. Therefore, it is off-line most of the time. In addition, there's no way to turn off motion, detection, and the notifications that go with it. The only way I could turn off motion detection notifications was to turn off notifications at the iPhone level in the app. Finally, when you want to view the image and landscape mode, the app locks up and only shows the image on half the screen. You have to restart the app to see the image. I'm returning the camera.

The camera is sponsored on Amazon and shilled on Slickdeals. This the 3rd time this camera has been posted here. Even for the price, there are better cameras with more features that are more reviewed on Amazon, but aren't posted here. Gee, I wonder why.
