From a review:

With a 45 C temperature limit set, it was able to sustain:

15,000 lumens for a minute with Turbo.
7,500 lumens for 2 minutes 30 seconds with Step 7.
4,000 lumens for almost 7 minutes with Step 6.
1,700 lumens for 15 minutes with Step 5.
1,000 lumens for over 5 hour with Step 5.
For those who are sensitive to PWM, know that this flashlight uses it.

They do lie about the ratings of lumens. I got a light there was advertised for 2100, and it really puts 1800. Other than that are pretty good

No, you probably didn't take it out of "muggle" mode to allow full turbo.

These advanced flashlights have an operating system built into them that requires configuration.

All of the configuration options are entered like Morse code, which is why the manual comes with a flow chart.

Thanks; it wasn't clear from the page what kind of runtime would be available at the various settings. frerk posted some reviewer times at lumen steps, so that's probably a no-go.

16000 lumens is absolute overkill on a bike

Sustained 1,000 lumens would be plenty for night rides, but would make this flashlight less than ideal if you're using it just for bike rides

I can't imagine riding with 16k lumens it would wash out anything nearby

<-- has several light saber level flashlights that can send out bat signals and have led flashlights mounted on bikes at home

I have this light . If you hold down the button it ramps the brightness up and down and you can select the brightness you want. It remembers it for next time. So you can find a sustainable comfortable brightness if you want. Or you can blast it on full turbo for a "wow" but it will heat up and then dim down some.

"No" lol, you think they got 1800 in muggle mode? Not even close... Go to the 1lumen dot com review of the IF22A, which is probably what the person you're saying is wrong was referring to. Oh wow, it was measured at 1853 lumens, not 2100...and that's from about the biggest flashlight nerd there is, who has tested hundreds of flashlights.

There's additional turbo brightness settings in advanced mode.

One review is suddenly gospel now?

As demonstrated by a number of comments in every Anduril flashlight thread, including this one, there's always a majority of people who don't know the flashlight is programmable.

Looks floody. I like my flashlights to throw a beam for hundreds of yards with a hotspot brighter than gingers butt on a sunny day.

If you have to ask, you don't need it. The main reason you want this is because it's friggin rad when you're in the forest and you turn literal pitch black into daylight.

It's 28% off don't miss out. You need this. Works great to blind intruders. And when the powers out you point at the ceiling and it lights up everything!

Confused with description, isn't $98.99 - $30.49 = $68.50?
Only couple of bucks differ but just wondering.

Ok, I just tried it and you get $30.49 discount because of stupid "commemorative coin" is $2 which they apply $2 discount to. If you take the coin off, then it is $28.49 discount.

At these levels of brightness, it's the same stuff that coppers use to disorient you. Don't look into the sun ! Great for far distance viewing, if you need it somehow lol

I love this flashlight. I have owned it for a bit over a year now. It's big and heavy - I wouldn't go hiking with it, but for household stuff, it's awesome. I use it to keep track of my dogs in the front yard, when it's time to do their business. My front yard is about 200' by 200'. From my front porch, I can easily track my dogs on the second to highest brightness level, and then up the intensity when my Brittany is standing still (to make sure she's going #2). My distance vision isn't the same as it used to be - so, you might be able to tell what she's doing at that second highest level. I charge it about once a month(ish) - using it a few times a day (especially in the Winter).
