Have a couple 40v batteries. This looks handy + the USB C out to charge a phone is nice.

The fan is also on sale for $20:

I ordered one, but does anyone know what wattage the USB C port will output? I'd love to use this to power my work laptop

according to the Q & A on the product page, a RYOBI rep says that the USB-C port has a 3A output. doesn't seem all that fast for a laptop. at 5v that would only mean 15W max, if I'm not miscalculating. the product does not specify if the port has PD, which could potentially enable more. personally, i doubt it.

Awesome. I really wanted a brighter work light and this is a no brained since I own the batteries already. Could be cool for camping too.

Q&A on the site says 3A and since voltage wasn't listed, I'd assume 3A at 5V for 15W max.

Nice to see them starting to add these useful accessories to the 40V lineup, especially with thoughtfully adding USB C charging outlets too.

Fan is also on sale, but does not have free delivery....$35! to deliver for me with no store pickup or deliver to store option. Sorry HD, you could have sold another one.
edit: I think the order these are placed in the cart matter. After removing the fan I proceeded to purchase and a note on the top of the page said free shipping applies to all items. Added the fan back in an free shipping stuck.

Thanks, OP!
I keep buying lights!

I think this will be the most handy for me for UNDER the car use.
all others that I have bought are not stable to aim correctly at the correct spot.

Yeah I'm thinkin the same. The regular 18 one that's on a handle grip doesn't lay as flat and is a bit more directional. This looks like it could lay flat a bit better.

How's the light quality on these?

I'm mostly fine with plug-in lights, but a cordless could be useful to have.

I have Milwaukee 18v stuff, and I've heard their lights are the best in terms of color quality...but I have Ryobi 40V lawn stuff so using that on a light means I can save my Milwaukee batteries for actual tools (I currently have more tools than batteries)

edit: in for one. Saw the built in rafter hook, remembered I need to do some work in my attic...will be nice to rely on more than just a headlamp.
