These were all very enjoyable games and looked pretty good. I'm pretty sure they've given all of the base games away for free and I've not played any of the dlc but for the amount of game you're getting, it's well worth this price.

Of course. All games should be played with a controller, maybe with an exception for online shooter games where mouse gets an edge.

I played it with a keyboard and mouse. It works.
I prefer a controller (with back buttons) though, it's a more relaxed hand position, all buttons are arrayed within reach (no chance of getting off WASD and instead trying to press ESDF or forgetting a hotkey), less chance of carpal tunnel, you get analog control for fine movement. I particularly love the 8BitDo and GuliKit controllers, the GuliKit KK3 is more durable and ergo than the Xbox Elite 2 yet costs a fraction of the price (IMO it's a slick deal of an alternative product).

But yes, you can play keyboard and mouse.

Wrong. While controllers are good for many genres - especially those primarily designed for consoles - the limitations of buttons and movement speed makes them inappropriate for games like shooters (you can't whip a stick to turn 180 degrees and precise aim with a stick is a joke; no, aim-assist doesn't count, there's a reason console shooters ban KB+M players) and RTS games. Being able to bind keyboard keys to various things helps as well. No League of Legends, Dota, Starcraft, etc. gamers are using gamepads.

You're right, I forgot RTS genre since I don't play those games anymore, partly because it's not convenient to play them with a keyboard/mouse sitting on a living room's couch lol

Much easier to aim with mouse but can definitely be played with controller.
